In a dry evaporator, the liquid secondary refrigerant flows from outside the tube. In order to increase the flow rate of the secondary refrigerant, multiple baffle rods are installed on the tube bundles in the cylinder block.

You can take tube bundle out of shell, it can be easily cleaned.
The spiral baffle makes the shell side fluid flow in a continuous spiral shape.
